About Yodo Labs

Yodo Labs is an applied AI research and engineering company based in Tokyo and Osaka. We build field visual AI systems for measurement, inspection, and safety verification -- the kind that runs on phones and edge devices your crews already carry. Expressions of Interest

We are a small team solving hard problems at the intersection of computer vision, on-device AI, and physical-world applications. The roles listed on this page reflect our current priorities, but they do not capture every kind of contribution we value.

If your background does not map neatly onto an open position but you believe you would thrive here, we want to hear from you. Some of the best additions to our team have come from people who saw what we were doing and said "I can help with that" in ways we had not anticipated.

We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in:

Edge deployment and on-device ML optimization
Robotics, sensor fusion, or hardware-software integration
Technical writing, developer relations, or research communication
Industrial operations, quality assurance, or safety engineering
Product design for field and industrial applications

But do not let this list limit you. If you have skills that would make our work better, tell us.
