PixelX Inc., the parent company of Yodo Labs, has been selected for the "Initiative for Co-creating the Future" (ICF) project, promoted by Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc. (MRI).
The ICF is a significant endeavor aimed at co-creating and socially implementing innovative solutions to the challenges facing modern society. This selection recognizes our group''s commitment to applied AI research in the APAC region.
About the Initiative for Co-creating the Future (ICF)
The ICF''s mission is to co-create and socially implement solutions to societal issues through open innovation involving multi-stakeholders, thereby generating collective impact.
Background
The 20th century enjoyed affluent societies benefiting from industrialization and economic growth. However, the 21st century has brought new challenges — global warming, aging populations with declining birthrates in developed countries, and continued population growth in emerging economies. The COVID-19 pandemic further shook the foundations of our social and economic systems.
Vision
The ICF believes it is essential to reconfigure future social systems into "autonomous, decentralized, and cooperative" models and to pursue new forms of affluence in an era where lifespans of 100 years are becoming common.
Structure
The ICF was formed by integrating the "Platinum Society Study Group" — which has advocated for reforms as a problem-solving nation for a decade — with the "Future Co-creation Innovation Network," which pioneered efforts to solve social issues through innovation ahead of the SDGs. Together, they build an ecosystem for future co-creation.
